MBBS Admission In India
MBBS degree is an undergraduate course for aspirants who want to fulfill their dream of becoming a doctor. Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), is a professional degree in medical science. After completing the MBBS course and obtaining the degree, students would be qualified as medical practitioners or doctors. The duration of the MBBS course is five years and six months including one year of rotational internship at hospitals. To get Admission to a top Mbbs college in India students must qualify for NEET– National Eligibility Cum Entrance and on the basis of this exam, they can appear for the next step to get seats in Medical college. Further, NEET exam qualified students are eligible for the counseling process.
A student who has qualified for the NEET-UG exam with a minimum cutoff mark specified by the exam authority is eligible to participate in the All-India Quota counseling of NEET-UG 2021. These students are also eligible to participate in state-level NEET-UG counseling. Under AIQ, 15% of seats in MBBS courses are reserved in various colleges across the country. The rest of the seats are filled under the state quota. While, as per Government rule 85% of seats are reserved by state Quota. Candidates having a higher chance to get a seat in the same domicile for state quota counseling. Only Eligible candidates can appear for MBBS Admission in India

Eligibility Criteria for MBBS Admission in India
- For applying for MBBS in India, students should be a 10+2 pass having physics, chemistry, and biology subjects with a minimum of 50% (40% for reserved candidates).
- Students need to appear for all Indian medical entrance examinations which is now known as NEET. There are 15% of government vacant seats are available for the medical courses in India.
- Candidates older than 25 years of age are not eligible to take the entrance exam for the MBBS course in India.
- The criteria are applicable for Indian nationals, NRIs, Foreign Nationals.

- Based on the AIR score obtained in NEET and the choices filled in the registration form, a seat allocation list will be prepared
- The seat allocation list will be uploaded online After Neet-ug 2021 exam

After the NEET exam results, eligible candidates will be called for counseling. Those candidates should bring the following documents for the admission process:

State Counselling Details
Neet UG Admission & List of MBBS College
The MBBS admission process is completely based on the entrance exam NEET conducted by MCI. No student would be able to get admission unless he/she appears for the MBBS entrance exam.
The Next important thing that NEET 2021 aspirants must understand is the division of seats for the counselling process.
MBBS Admission Process Followed by two different ways; for Deemed private college you have to go through MCC Counselling & for State private college you have to go through respectively state counselling.
State Quota counselling is for admission to the remaining 85% seats of government medical & dental colleges. All seats of the private Medical & dental colleges located in a particular state will also be under this counselling process. However, the state seats are reserved for the candidate domiciled in that particular state only.
